I woke up around 7:00 am in the morning. Rushed into the shower and had breakfast. Dad, called me up already and drove to the moviehouse at SM. East meets West in the arena, that is Manny Pacquiao from Philippines against Ricky Hatton from England. The moment we sat in our seats while undercards are in action, I slept a bit. I woke up again with last 3 matches left while the main event wasn’t starting yet. I went out and bought some popcorn.

So I am ready to cheer for our hero. I thought it’s going to be intense. I mean, I thought it would reached until the 12th round but I got disappointed. Hatton got knockdown twice in the first round and in 2nd round was a finishing touch by Pacman’s elusive left punch. Hatton got numb for awhile, poor britains. It was said that there were about 25,000 of them flew to MGM Grand to support there Hitman but then Filipinos still dominates the boxing game.

Pacman is the best! He’s unbeatable. His punches are just to mighty and hard to dodge. He is a God in boxing now. Mabuhay PHILIPPINES!

Flags up!

Home Again

30Apr09

I just got home guys!

On my first day in Manila, I stayed with my Dad’s hotel for 3 days just along United Nations Avenue where Pius Church is. He then flew back home to Cagayan de Oro City on my 3rd day at Manila and for me, I hitched at my Auntie’s hotel.

Last Sunday, we attended my cousin’s graduation at University of the Philippines-Diliman with her proud family as Cumlaude. Woah! That’s kick-ass. Proud to be her cousin. We then have dinner at Adarna (A Filipino cuisine restaurant) with their extended family relatives and my cousin’s friends after her commencement exercise. For the resto’s comment, the ambiance were kinda vintage. It seems you need to have a call first before going there just to reserve a table and dine there. If you have a group of friends who would like to hangout and chit chat, I suggest you guys should have a moment there. It’s located at Quezon avenue.

After the graduation day, We went to La Mesa Eco Park somewhere at Fairview. There you can enjoy extreme sports such as paint balls, rappelling, zip line and wall climbing. You can also stroll around at there park and enjoy a breathe of  fresh air where it is so rare in a very busy city.  At night, We had dinner at Mall of Asia with my Uncle’s cousin. Make it double! Seafood was the delicacy that night.

Next, We tour around my other cousin (it was her first time in Manila) at Intramuros, Fort Santiago, Bagumbayan, Manila Cathedral Church and many more.

Last but not the least, had dinner at Holy Cow Steakhouse with Ayn! She’s still beautiful as ever. I miss her a lot.

Love is lust.

Money is power.

Work is hard.

Life is free.

Future is near.

To Oroquieta City, Philippines!

I’ll just write a short one for tonight.

I’ll be out of town for tomorrow. Me and my family are going to their hometown and also where I was born for the weekend and be back for a couple of days. I’ll take some photos along the highway until we arrive in town. By then, you’ll witness how relaxing it would be in my parents’ hometown. Imagine.  Breathing along the bay side, walking around the city park, no traffic on the streets, go pole fishing at the lake, having some good time at my uncle’s farm and don’t forget the road trip, it’s worthy waking up early morning. Just like the simple-kind of living.

Be right back and Godspeed.

Dear WordPress,

Here’s a fact, I need to wake up by 7:00 am coz’ mom told me to drive her tomorrow in her scheduled appointments and register me on a health insurance around 8:30 am. So it’s my Dad’s rest day tomorrow.  Aghhh, Can this be possibleeee??? And for me, I’ll go to the mall and look for something that I should’ve been looking for today. Just to let you know, I’m looking for a new backpack can suites my taste, charger for my ipod(plug-it-in-to-the-outlet-type), TV out cable for my sister’s laptop, go to mlhullier to pick up my uncle’s money he sent to me and WHAT ELSEEEE! Aha! nevermind..

I go to sleeep now. Good night and sleep tight.

P.S. I KNOWW. I need to shave but I need to buy a new razor first.

I went in a coffee shop waiting for my Dad, having a massage on a spa shop, earlier this afternoon. Reading newspapers, listening on my ipod, humming-softly the music, watching people walking around and thinking of my better half while she’s working and of course, sipping my cold coffee.

Right then, I’ll be watching movies again tonight. (“,)

Finally, It’s all OVER! I’m officially a graduate student of Xavier University. I’m done studying at Xavier University-Ateneo de Manila. With my heads up and my proud parents, I thank them for the blessing they gave to me from giving the precious ambition they want for a son.

So, what’s next in my life? what’s my purpose now in this new life? what will be my destiny? Ughh I don’t wanna expect things in the future. I rather expect less.

Father Jet Villarin told us “I hope you’ll get a job or make a job.” then I replied solemnly, I guessed si lord na bahala.

“What a journey it has been…and another chapter is about to begin!”

I got to keep rockin!
